40% of Mexico without phone or internet: the rural digital gap on the other side of the pond

The newspaper El Español publishes in its Disruptors and Innovators section the landing of CoComm in Mexico. The article highlights CoComm’s technology as one of the keys to reducing the digital divide in rural areas of the country. Still 40% of the population in Mexico doesn´t have access to internet or telephony. Thanks to an agreement with Telcel (América Móvil), the Spanish company is launching its technological deployment to universalise connectivity in Latin America. You can read the full story here.
